The MVP program provides monthly recognition of a Team UAMS member who demonstrate outstanding service in support of UAMS’ mission. They go above and beyond in their work, maintain collegial relationships with others, and exemplify our Core Values of:

THE AWARDS
- Photo on the MVP wall across from the Chancellor’s Suite
- Free parking for a month in any UAMS parking deck
- Featured in the Chancellor’s monthly video
- A new MVP badge-pull
- Presentation of certificate and monetary award to the Chancellor’s Cabinet
- Honored at the year-end MVP luncheon
THE NOMINATION
Nominees for the award must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a full-time or part-time employee of UAMS;
- Can be employed at any UAMS location (this includes remote workers);
- Has not been selected as MVP within the past 24 months.
Be specific in the nomination.
- Explain how the employee provided outstanding customer service, served as a role model or contributed to a positive work environment.
- Describe the employee’s recent achievement(s) and the positive outcomes on the department and UAMs.
- Describe how the employee goes above and beyond the normal duties expected of the position.
NOTE: Search the nominee’s name in Workday or Global to fill in fields such as title or supervisor if you are unsure.
The MVP Committee has the right to verify nomination content with the nominee’s supervisor. In recognition of exemplary job performance and outstanding contributions to UAMS, I would like to nominate the following employee for the MVP Monthly Recognition Award.
